The vision of o2h is to seed new ideas in life science, technology and social enterprise. The investment group, o2h ventures has recently launched a new EIS therapeutics fund specialising in early stage investments in biotech and AI enabling technologies.  o2h is headquartered in the heart of the Cambridge Life Sciences ecosystem in the o2h SciTech Park at the recently acquired Hauxton Mill site. We are looking for a dynamic and expert administrator with the relevant background to join our investment team and manage the office operations of the new site.

 

The roles and responsibilities shall include:

  • Communicating with new/existing investors as the first point of contact

  • Processing new investor applications and maintaining share registers

  • Provide investor updates, valuation reports, annual reports and handling ad-hoc queries

  • Ensure timely delivery of EIS certificates, contracts and accounting information to investors

  • Organise and manage the deal flow that comes in from prospective investee companies

  • Liaising with fund administrators, accountants, lawyers, service providers, HMRC and nominee groups

  • Skills in writing independent communications over social media, web, print media, email and letter

  • Contribute to data analysis, data tracking, marketing and PR functions

  • Assist with the on-going development & execution of the new o2h SciTech park

  • Managing tenants and contracts for the o2h co-work incubator

  • Engage occupants of the o2h SciTech Park with talks, panel discussions and events that build skills

  • Drive and shape the creation of research neighbourhoods and scientific communities

  • Co-ordinate with technology transfer offices, Universities, biotech’s and industry bodies

  • Assisting with bank reconciliations, payments, invoicing, and managing key databases

  • Administer recruitment and HR related matters

  • Support the drafting and peer review of key policies, processes and documents

  • Manage the diary, travel and schedules of the General Partners / Board

  • Managing the o2h Ventures board meetings, office functions, task tracking, events and operations

You will be a graduate and have demonstrated a relevant track record to be able to hit the ground running. It is a full-time position based on-site in Cambridge reporting directly to the CEO and the board. You shall be eligible to work in the UK or have an appropriate visa.
