Environment, Health & Safety - Manager

Manage the maintenance and implementation of safety programs, compliance plans, and initiatives.
Conduct, coordinate and track various training to support company programs like First-Aid training, Lab safety training, New joiner induction training and tests (India and UK), firefighting, fire hydrant training, etc.
Working with the EHS team for Key Cooperative promotion of safety governance in the Company.
Conduct routine safety audits (external and internal), ensuring compliance with EHS policies, procedures, and practices.
Manage & maintain internal and regulatory reports including data collection, observations, SOPs, policies etc.
Liaising with government authorities like GPCB, the fire department, and DISH.
Ability to take necessary steps to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.

A relavent degree in B.Sc or M.Sc in Fire and Safety/Chemistry with PDIS (Post Diploma in Industrial Safety).
8-10 years of relevent work experience in Pharma or chemical company, managing and implementing safety programs, compliance plans, and initiatives.
Clear understanding of EHS principles & strategies.
Have a passion for EHS as well as being open to continuous learning and education.
Creative thinking to spot new ideas and initiatives for safety awareness and promoting safe culture across site(s).
Be highly organized with the ability to work independently in a fast paced team environment.
Ability to work in a team in a transparent and entrepreneurial culture.
Self-motivated with initiative to reach challenging targets.
Outstanding business writing and proofing skills with fearless and positive mindset.
Exceptional attention to detail and good at drafting process and policies.
