Marketing Trainee

Job description

  • Supporting the VP of Business Development in day to day marketing and related promotional activities (e.g. social media, mail marketing)
  • Managing and organizing various marketing content documents and presentations with military precision
  • Spotting new marketing opportunities, trends and capitalizing on them with creative strategies
  • Responsible for managing campaigns like conferences and events end to end
  • Developing content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Prepare newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels
  • Assisting in PR related activities such as PR research, finding the right platforms, websites, blogs etc.
  • Supporting team by reviewing business contracts and spotting opportunities for BD strategy by gathering and analyzing information skillfully
  • Liaising between the collaborators and internal teams for various requirements and feedback
  • Assisting in writing, editing and content creation including articles, blog posts, web copy, landing pages, in-depth guides, customer stories promoting company and its services
  • Analyzing content marketing metrics and making changes as needed
  • Collaborate with designers to improve user experience

Job requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in business English, including the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees via phone and email
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles, tools and strategies
  • Confident, effective presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Expertise and experience in MS Suite including MS Excel, MS Doc, MS PowerPoint and related
  • Knowledge of marketing software/tools such as Hubspot, Google Analytics, MailChimp, Moz, Ahrefs and the like
  • Hands-on experience with paid advertising such as Google ads, FB and LinkedIn ads will be an added advantage
  • Be highly motivated to initiate projects and work under aggressive deadlines
  • Be highly organized with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment in a transparent and entrepreneurial culture
  • Be able to demonstrate outstanding business writing and proofreading skills
  • Curiosity, energy, creativity, and bravery with a strong desire to help build the o2h culture
  • Ability to manage relationships with internal and external collaborators
  • Creative and analytical thinking to spot new customer and growth opportunities
