Preparing detailed business case studies and presenting them to the company management - this will include a listing of required resources/infrastructure and ROI calculations.
Pursuing business leads to converting them to sales, negotiating contracts and agreements etc.
Updating business development databases to include opportunities, proposals issued, approved projects, and BD activities and other tracking indices.
Responding to requests for proposals in a quick and efficient manner.
Ensuring the fast start of new projects.
Coordination with all the project stakeholders, SCM team, Projects team, Collaborator team for smooth and successful execution.
Handling customer complaints and ensuring quick corrective actions.
Achieving quarterly and annual targets/budgeted revenues.
Managing invoices.
Assisting in the creation of o2h marketing literature and advertisements.
Travelling as per business needs and representing o2h to attract new customers via social media marketing, field marketing, attending trade shows, networking events, webinars, conferences and meetings across the USA.
MIS and board representation of BD and business performance and future plans.
Relevant years of experience in CRO/FTE/Pharma industry with a proven track record in business development.
Having great understanding on US pharma/lifescience sector.
Relevant degree in marketin or business administration with education background in chemistry/biology/biochemistry would be essential.
Clear understanding of BD principles, strategy, and design.
Experience in managing RFI/RFP/RFQ and collaborators visits.
Have a passion for marketing as well as being open to continuous learning and education.
Strong knowledge of marketing software tools such as Hub spot, Google Analytics, SEMRush.
Creative thinking to spot new customer and growth opportunities.
Ability to troubleshoot problems and keeping commitments/timelines.
Be highly organized with the ability to work independently in a fast paced team environment.
