Peptide Organic Chemist (CRO) and Scaleup Organic Chemist

Peptide Organic Chemist:

• Provide support in building, state-of-the-art peptide synthesis methods and equipment to drive peptide generation
• Responsible for Synthesizing target peptides, performing purification and characterization, performing the lab experiments.
• Perform Manual Solid Phase synthesis on Medium scale, commercial-scale (1 to 10 g, 100 g and 1kg final product) with minimal or no supervision.
• Responsible for Characterization and identification of compounds using modern analytical methods including, but not limited to, HPLC, LCMS, and MS
• To maintain instruments like Rotary evaporator, MPLC, pH meter, lyophilizer, peptide synthesizer, centrifuge etc. & comply with SHE/regulatory guidelines
• Should be able to troubleshoot the problem at the highest level for both practical and theoretical synthetic issues
• Demonstrated ability to solve significant synthetic chemistry problems evidenced by publications
• Literature search and collection of MSDS
• Accountable for Accurate documentation of experimental procedures and other necessary databases
• Maintenance of documents like patents, literature, analytical reports
• Documentation of lab experiments, experimental results and interpretation of spectral data
• To maintain Lab notebook. Understanding of systems and process pertaining to safety, health and environment
• To work in close collaboration with internal functions that incudes analytical, biological, IPM and supply chain management
• To maintain individual productivity that includes number of reactions, purifications and number of shipments
• Management of effluent generation from lab experiments

Scaleup Organic Chemist

• Synthesis & Purification: Conduct synthesis & purification of Scale up molecules in gm to kg scale.
• Independently handle 50L, 100L GLR assembly.
• Basic knowledge of technology transfer from PR&D to plant scale.
• In-depth knowledge of Process research and development, scale up as well as non-GMP
• Analysis Interpretation: Interpret 1H NMR, HPLC/LCMS analysis
• Purification Techniques: Apply knowledge of purification techniques at gm to kg scale.
• Project Delivery: Focus on delivering projects from initiation to completion.
• Collaborate effectively with the team.

Peptide Organic Chemist:

• 4 to 6 Years of experience in Peptide chemistry from CRO Industry
• Adherence to safe practices and procedures
• Contribution to the development of safety protocols and systems
• Promotion of an environment, health, and safety (EHS) mindset
• Completion of mandatory training related to data integrity, health, and safety
• Must have good manual dexterity and demonstrate careful attention to detail
• Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with people in other departments
• Work collaboratively with others and be able to adapt to various work assignments
• Must be able to prioritize and organize work responsibilities in order to meet deadlines
• Must possess a great deal of integrity to maintain confidentiality

Scaleup Organic Chemist

• 5-8 years of experience in Scaleup Synthesis.
• Will be responsible for the operation of 20L, 50L, 100L GLR assembly, synthesis and purification of molecules in gm to kg scale.
• Role involves independently handling GLR assembly, synthesize and troubleshooting challenges that may arise.
• Fluent in verbal and written English
