Product Manager

Job description

  • Consult with product stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements

  • Perform user research to understand specific pain points and brainstorm digital solutions

  • Own and develop relationships with stakeholders to build product roadmaps that map the needs of our organisation

  • If needed, perform a comparative analysis of products in the market to assess return on investment

  • Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements

  • Participate in discussion for implementation design, setup, and review processes

  • Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve support, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer

  • Participate in deep-dive discussions on strategic, tactical planning and commercialisation opportunities for the product(s)

  • Lead regular team meetings to set expectations, determine progress and address any questions or challenges

Job requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a product manager for software projects, while serving as the primary point of contact for all technical matters and project deliverables

  • Previous management and development experience in IT field required

  • Effective verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to manage relationships with internal and external collaborators

  • Strong written communication skills including business technical writing and proofreading

  • Experience mentoring, coaching and developing rising talent in the technology department

  • Demonstrated experience in requirement gathering & documentation (User stories, BRD, FRD, Flow Diagram etc.)

  • Demonstrated experience in building product road map and communicating it to stakeholders

  • Good understanding of React JS, Laravel, Android, iOS, AI, System engineering concepts and Big Data

  • Well-versed with MS Suite including MS Excel, MS Doc, MS PowerPoint and related

  • Hands on working experience with tools such as JIRA, Hubspot.

  • Practical knowledge of SDLC concepts and Agile methodologies

  • Ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis and develop business cases

  • Be highly motivated to initiate projects and work under aggressive deadlines

  • Strong leadership skills; able to support and develop project teams

  • Be highly organized with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment in a transparent and entrepreneurial culture
