Project Manager

Job description

  • Own (Accountable) all pre-sales activities (Client call, proposal creation, proposal review, estimation validations etc.)

  • Respond to inquiries on Upwork, schedule calls for qualifying the leads. Upon qualifying, passing the lead to the BA team to check bandwidth and time estimate

  • Review documents created by BA team, and create proposals and other technical documents related to projects as required

  • Reporting manager and Mentor for BA team

  • Create contract templates

  • Identify the gaps for any processes and provide solution and create/update Process and related documentation

  • Create Project plans for the projects incl. defining milestones and deliverables

  • Own the invoicing process (based on milestone and deliverables), and chasing late payments

  • Resource forecasting and resource management

  • Own time tracking reporting ( using Clockify software) and efforts including review time reporting done correctly

  • Project Retrospectives and Overall Retrospective Process

  • Owning (Accountable) ticket management (currently using Jira) with administrative activities

  • Owning (Accountable) Customer Support

  • Client Feedback Implementation

  • External Client Project management process incl change management

  • Internal product project management process incl change management

  • Lead & support sprint/scrum masters in how they manage daily stand-ups

  • Lead weekly status calls with clients along w BAs, and support BAs for walkthrough of FRD, designs, etc.

  • Own the Risk management for projects and processes

  • Makes sure the defined processes are followed correctly and train team on the processes

  • Project budget management (comparison with estimated vs actual spent hrs)

  • Provide support for product owners to define roadmaps for projects and products

  • Point of escalation of client complaints and concerns regarding project delivery timeline or scope

  • run regular training sessions on how to run a tech service company successfully

  • run regular training sessions on our processes for: sales, pre-sales, customer success (e.g. managing customer expectations)

  • Monthly accounting of costs and revenue, checking against figures from finance team, monthly presentation to management team

  • Annual review of pricing strategy for o2h tech in consultation with management team

  • Account management ie solicit more work from current and past customers

  • Approval of quotes and proposals sent to customers

Job requirements

  • Has at least graduate degree in computer science

  • 8+ years experience (3+yrs as PM)

  • 5-7 concurrent projects w 5+ team members per project

  • Team player with excellent communication skills
